STEERSUITE FINANCE

Reports and forecasts on request, each with the context behind the numbers.

The finance product for teams that need the answer and the reason behind it in the same breath. Ask in plain language; every figure keeps the decision that produced it. We call it Decision Memory.

OUR OWN SURVEY

In finance, time is the real bottleneck.

We come from finance ourselves, and we surveyed more than 60 finance and controlling leaders across the DACH region. The same pattern every time: too much time passes between a number and the decision that rests on it. The cause lies in the processes themselves; changing the software does little.

6tools per day

Constant tool-switching burns hours that never show up on any P&L.

And interruptions are expensive: field research by UC Irvine's Gloria Mark puts the average time to resume interrupted work at just over 23 minutes.

The numbers arrive within hours; the reasoning often takes over a week.

No tool tracks decision context while it forms — every cycle reconstructs it from emails, calls, and the people who happened to be involved at the time.

Plug-and-play doesn't exist in finance software.

New BI/CPM tools routinely take six months or more to show value — because the rollout starts at the tool and leaves the processes underneath untouched.

A DAY WITH STEERSUITE FINANCE

Illustrative example

A day with SteerSuite Finance.

What a board day feels like when every number keeps its context.

Before the board meeting

A downside modeled in one sentence

An hour before the board, I want to know how the plan holds up against a 15 percent revenue drop. I describe the scenario in plain language. The metrics recompute in full, not estimated by the model, and every figure stays traceable down to the source record. I see the covenant headroom without calling an analyst or waiting on a rebuilt spreadsheet.

I walk into the meeting with a worst case I can defend down to the source.

In the meeting

The why answered right at the table

A shareholder asks directly why EBITDA came in below forecast. I ask SteerSuite during the meeting. It returns the full chain: a key project has slipped, revenue moves into the next quarter, reported by sales with a date, all linked to the pipeline data, even though the update goes back weeks.

I answer the question in the room and back it up, instead of deferring it to a three-day email thread through finance.

After hours

The missing context filled in by evening

A movement came up in the meeting whose rationale was never in the system; it lived only with the colleague who made the call. SteerSuite flagged the gap and asked him; once he confirmed the rationale, it was filed with a source reference in the tamper-evident audit trail. When I check in the evening, the context is locked to the entry.

At close a few months out, the rationale is audit-ready, with no one reconstructing it from memory.
